Different woods in the same wagon Contact with the metal parts preserved traces of the chariot’s wood, although this disappeared in other areas. Its study identified beech under the iron bands of the wheels and ash in the hubs where the spokes converged. The wheels were dismantled and aligned against the funerary wall. The box carried small bronze plates with pierced rosettes and wheel motifs, alternated with small columns. These vestiges allow reconstruction of carpentry and decoration choices that the gold of the grave goods usually eclipses when contemplating the burial.
