# Open Prehistory documentation archive — TRACEKEEPERS

This directory defines the public documentary edition of the first TRACEKEEPERS saga. Its purpose is to let anyone read, share, translate and improve the documentation about its story, characters, places and missions.

## Included

- the narrative canon needed to understand the arrival at the first window;
- an arrival mission with stone beads and the active ten-adventure Prehistory campaign;
- profiles for Kael, Tala, Oru, Bora, Sira and Lorn;
- documentation for the opening Çakmaktepe setting and the later route to Göbekli Tepe;
- the entry script and the rules for connecting questions across different ages;
- the plain-language guide and the limits of each character's knowledge.

The publishable copy is generated in `website/en/documentation/prehistoria/`. It contains HTML pages, Markdown sources and a compressed package.

## Not included

The documentary licence does not cover the video game or website code, executables, Unreal Engine projects, 3D models, MetaHumans, internal prompts, music, voices, logos, trademarks, or third-party images and files. Nor does it grant rights over discoveries, photographs, maps or external texts cited in the documentation.

Replaced documents, contradictory drafts and internal notes are not part of the active public edition. They remain in the production repository for traceability, but must not be confused with the current canon.

## Licence

Original text identified as open documentation is offered under the [Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence](licencia.md). The recommended attribution is:

> “Based on the open TRACEKEEPERS documentation”, with a link to the original document, the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence and a description of the changes made.

## Proposing a change

Read [How to contribute](como-contribuir.md). A proposal can help guide the project, but it does not enter the canon automatically, and a vote cannot turn an interpretation into a historical fact.
