How to contribute to the Prehistory documentation
Thank you for helping to improve TRACEKEEPERS. Contributions should make knowledge clearer, verifiable and more accessible.
Accepted proposals
- correct an error with an identifiable source;
- simplify an explanation without losing its meaning;
- add a historically viable place, person or expansion;
- point out something missing, uncertain or disputed;
- improve accessibility, translation or understanding.
Minimum information
- proposal title and type: expansion, place, character or correction;
- a plain-language explanation of the idea;
- the exact period and place;
- reliable primary or academic sources;
- which part is established, possible, disputed or must be reconstructed;
- how it connects to an existing mission or open question;
- possible rights, safety or representation issues.
Review and voting
The team first checks the proposal against the canon, sources, rights, safety, cost and realistic production constraints. Only proposals that pass this review proceed to a public vote. Each account receives one vote per proposal, and the voter's identity is not displayed publicly.
Votes help set priorities. The final decision and its reasons are published; no vote replaces historical evidence.
Language
Begin with an explanation that someone with no previous knowledge can understand. Optional depth can take the idea further, but it must always stop at the knowledge available to the character and their time.

When submitting text for this open edition, you must have the right to share it and agree that, if accepted, it will be published under CC BY-SA 4.0. Do not copy text, photographs or illustrations without permission.
