One story, two compositions

Cropping a page is not enough.

Manga controls the page turn. Webtoon controls time through scrolling. They share characters, dialogue and sources, but each format has its own rhythm.

01

Manga

Black and white, right-to-left reading and 48 pages. Silence comes before the beacon and before Kael.

Page-based work
02

Webtoon

Colour and vertical reading. Long spaces convey the journey, Earth's contradiction and the entrance into the past.

Continuous sequence
03

Shared source

Faces, clothing, locations, objects and dialogue are kept separate so each scene can be adapted without changing the story.

The pilot's promise

Emotion without false certainty.

  • Arecibo is real. The beacon and Atlas are fiction.
  • The signal is an image. It is not translated as a conversation.
  • The curve shows traces. It does not rank peoples or claim sudden intelligence.
  • Kael is fictional. His world is reconstructed with visible limits.

Production documents

The pilot already has a working map.

Page plans, vertical reading, files, translations and sources are defined in Spanish production documents. Drawing, lettering, translation and testing still remain.
